The lagoon next door, Bávaro down the road
The Vistacana community has its own lagoon-style beach club — white sand, calm turquoise water and palms, about a 15-minute walk from the house via a shortcut, or 5 minutes by car. The community's resort pools are close by too.
When you want the open sea, the famous white-sand beaches of Bávaro are a short drive away — spend the day on the coast and come home to your own private pool and its waterfall.
The Punta Cana classics
Some of the Dominican Republic’s most loved attractions start close to home. Local operators run these daily — we can point you in the right direction.
Saona Island
Catamaran and speedboat day trips run to this Caribbean postcard of turquoise water, sandbars and palm-lined beaches.
Hoyo Azul & Scape Park
Swim in a strikingly blue cenote at the foot of a cliff, with caves and more to explore at Scape Park in Cap Cana.
Golf
Punta Cana is one of the Caribbean’s great golf destinations, with well-known courses throughout the area — including a course right in the Vistacana community.
Dune buggies & zip lines
Adventure tours are a Punta Cana classic — buggy rides along countryside trails and zip lines through the treetops, offered daily by operators across the area.
Eat out, or cook in
Around Bávaro and the wider Punta Cana area you'll find the whole range — from casual local spots serving Dominican dishes to international dining. Whatever you're craving, it's rarely more than a short drive away.
Prefer a quiet night in? Supermarkets are just minutes away, and the villa's fully equipped kitchen — quartz countertops, a double wall oven and a gas cooktop — is made for real cooking.

Getting around is easy
Taxis and private transfers are easy to arrange from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) — the house is only about 10 minutes away — and drivers can take you to the beaches, restaurants and excursion meeting points too.
